SkyBlue Resources Ltd was established in 2013, and is made up of two companies from different backgrounds merging together to form one strong entity. A recruitment agency in the social care sector providing support to local authorities, and also the voluntary
and care home sector. Experience had been focused on identifying, safely recruiting, retaining and placing staff across the London and the Southeast.
The other being a residential care home. The care home focused on engageing and ‘reaching out’ to the most ‘hardest to reach’, who similarly have the highest support needs. They have a proven extensive track record of working with clients who present with a range of complex and challenging behaviours.
SERVICES
Edge Of Care
Intervention is targeted at families who are in crisis and on the brink
of having their child placed into care. The support package will be
issues, dispelling the need for entry of children into the care system.
Rehabilitation:
Intervention is targeted at families who have children that are already
focused on preparing the child/young people and their families for in the care systems. The package of support will be specifically reunification, and as such exit them from the care system.
Fragile Placement/Outreach Packages
Intervention is targeted at children/young people who are
already in the care system with a placement that is on
the verge of breakdown. The package of support will be
cally focused on preventing placement disruption.
NB: Packages of support can be commissioned for days,
weeks or months according to the needs of the individual
case which can be accessed at point of referral and
regularly reviewed.
From a ‘cost saving’ perspective the potential saving
to Boroughs applying this model could be significant. This
is because only an hourly rate will apply which is
agreed at point of referral and is case specific. The
benefits also include not having to pay fees for an
expensive weekly placement or bridging placement, and
as such not be liable for a ‘costly notice period’, which can
also present financial challenges.
